Our History
Founded in 2011 by Brian C. Petersen, Petersen Cor Associates, LLC has worked on many buildings and with many customers. From its humble beginnings in small renovations and remodels, our family owned and operated business began to look beyond its borders to include residential and commercial projects from blueprint to building stage. Now, we are proud to claim beautiful local structures in our job history.
Our Mission & Purpose
Our company name draws its origin from a beautiful masterpiece in Paris, France – Sacré Coeur Cathedral. This towering edifice was originally the highest point in Paris until the Eiffel Tower was erected. Petersen Cor Associates, LLC aims for the sky in all its endeavors and projects. With the “Cor,” or “Heart” of Jesus, we build beauty and strength for our world. Coupled with this noble name, our logo borrows the image of a hart (a young male deer) from the Petersen family crest with the motto “Make a Difference.” The hart symbolizes Christ and His conquest against the evil one – as we try to influence the world and our surroundings in a beautiful and positive way!
Petersen Cor Associates, LLC Employee Bios
Brian Petersen
Owner, project manager, dad, and construction extraordinaire – developed Petersen Cor Associates, LLC after a move northward over 10 years ago. With 30+ years of experience in the building industry, Brian began this business with his sons following in his footsteps. Over a decade later, many contented customers have shaken hands with Brian as he designs, builds, and completes their projects with great attention to every detail.
John Hardess
Found using a jig-saw on an island across a few ponds, our Aussie joined the crew after marrying the boss’s daughter. For over 5 years, Johnny has multitasked in carpentry, electrical installment, and plumbing while being a project leader and calling his laborers “mate.” If you can understand him, you’ll catch his sense of humor. Every Independence Day he proudly celebrates as an Aussie-American with his wife, 3 kids, and thermos of coffee.
Brian DeLisle
There’s more to this Washington native than his love of apples. A true artist at heart, Brian deals in many hobbies including carpentry, vinification, cast molding, and music making. Amidst paint strokes, saw-cuts, and floor tiles, Brian lends his ever-practical commands to his crew of the day. When he isn’t being project leader, he’s at home eating his wife’s pear clafoutis and putting his 2 small children to bed.
Thaddeus Petersen
The quiet man on the crew is the boss’s youngest son, Thaddeus. Between multiple cups of caffeinated tea, Thaddeus can wrestle up any weight and leave any job completed with perfection. He’s the last of 10 Petersen children, and reminds us all that it’s the slow and steady that win in the race!
